Our story began back in 7th grade, when we started a sweet little relationship that lasted through 8th grade. It was everything you’d expect from middle school—awkward hugs, hand-holding, and sharing our first “I love yous” and first kisses.
Eventually, our young relationship came to an end, but there’s something about a first love that never fully fades.
Through high school, we stayed friends—though Caleb was always hoping for something more, while Kayden wasn’t quite convinced at the time. Life had a way of keeping us just friends for a while.
After graduation, we went our separate ways, each living life, growing, and learning along the way. Then this past summer, everything changed when we unexpectedly ran into each other at the Peach Festival in Stratford. What started as a simple conversation quickly felt easy and familiar, like no time had passed at all.
In the weeks that followed, we began to see how God had been working in our lives all along—quietly aligning our paths in ways we didn’t fully understand at first. There was a sense of peace and clarity that came quickly, almost confirming that this was from God.
Since then, we’ve been incredibly grateful to grow together, learning what it truly means to love and be loved well. Most importantly, we’ve seen God’s love reflected in each other and in the foundation we’re building together.
We are so thankful for the journey that brought us here and for a love rooted in faith. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. Thank you for supporting us through every season of our lives.
